With deep experience across a wide range of industries, Callie brings a people-first mindset to her role as Strategic Assistant to Scott Cohen, Founder and Executive Chairman at CD Wealth Management.
What drew Callie to CD Wealth was the firm’s culture. She was looking for a place where relationships matter.
“I was looking for how people were treated. It’s important for me to work somewhere that I enjoy and where people are helpful and thoughtful.”
Originally from East Texas, Callie grew up in Tyler and earned her degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Texas at Tyler, where she also played collegiate volleyball.
Before joining CD Wealth, Callie built her career across several industries, including healthcare, private equity, and commercial real estate while in Houston. She also worked as an executive assistant at Sewell Automotive in Dallas.
Her work has ranged from executive and operational support to human resources and office management, often in fast-moving environments where organization, adaptability, and attention to detail were essential.
Today, Callie enjoys learning more about the financial planning business and supporting the team as they serve clients. She values CD Wealth’s collaborative environment and its commitment to doing right by the people it serves.
“Everybody is involved with every client,” she said. “It’s personal. And when you are talking about people’s money, their retirement, their wellbeing, it is personal. They treat everyone how they want to be treated.”
Outside the office, she enjoys playing tennis, golf, and pickleball — and spending time with her three sisters and nine nieces and nephews.
