Kelley started her career with a foot in the door, taking a role as receptionist with Waldman Bros in 1996. Her career and her business relationship with Scott Cohen have been growing ever since.
In her second year on the job, Kelley became an Account Manager in Waldman Bros’ Life Insurance Department, working directly with Scott. Over the course of 18 years there, she rose to become Manager of the Life Insurance/Financial Services Department before leaving in July 2014 to join Scott as he started CD Wealth Management.
“I’m proud of the work that I do and the way that it’s done. Success is not about dollars. It’s about making people happy.”
As Director of Client Service, Kelley oversees all aspects of CD Wealth Management’s interactions with its clients, ensuring the best possible experience. She also is an Insurance Specialist, helping clients with marketing, underwriting and policy service for all insurance-related products (life, disability and long-term care). Additionally, Kelley works with Scott to build, implement and administer deferred-compensation plans — all while working as Scott’s executive assistant.
“We treat clients like family. I help every client as if they were my mother or my grandmother,” she said. “That’s why we have such long-lasting relationships. We help our clients like we would want our own family members treated.”
