As principal at CD Wealth Management, Andy leads the company with the belief that trust, communication and superior customer service are the foundation of a successful wealth services firm. With a degree in finance and economics from the University of Texas at Austin, Andy began his career in the restaurant business at Brinker International, where he helped create and launch a new restaurant concept. He then joined an entrepreneurial start-up and, after earning his MBA from Southern Methodist University, worked in the private wealth management sector at Donaldson Lufkin Jenrette/Credit Suisse First Boston in New York and Dallas. He joined Waldman Bros in 2004.
Andy’s broad range of experience allows him the vision and perspective to see the big picture from many different financial angles. He specializes in financial planning and wealth management for high net worth individuals as well as focusing on fixed income and alternative investment opportunities. Andy loves interacting with his clients and helping them achieve their lifetime goals. His deep knowledge, integrity and hardworking nature allows these relationships to prosper. Andy is dedicated to supporting his community and currently serves as First Vice Chairman as well as Chairman of the Investment and Audit Committees of the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation. In October, will begin his term as Chairman of the Board.
Additionally, he is a member of the finance and investment committee for the Jewish Community Center of Dallas. Andy enjoys sports, golf, reading, and word puzzles. He loves to spend time with his wife and two sons.
