As a Managing Director and Chief Wealth Management Officer at CD Wealth Management, Ilona specializes in comprehensive financial planning with a focus on working with people whose lives are in transition, including divorcees, widows and widowers. She also excels in her work with matriarchs and patriarchs of multigenerational families to ensure that the transition of their wealth is built on a solid foundation and that their legacy is expertly protected for generations to come.
Ilona started in the financial industry working for a global financial services firm and joined Waldman Bros in 2009. She has learned the business from the ground up and understands the entire process of financial planning and investment advisory services. She enjoys organizing clients financially to create a clear path forward so they are wholly educated about their decisions.
Ilona sits on Kestra Financial’s Women Empowerment Network Advisory Council, which seeks to empower the success of female financial professionals through a dedicated support network to share strengths, talents and experiences while fostering the advancement of women in financial services. She also sits on Kestra’s Digital Platform Council. Her podcast, Cosmos and Financial Convos, was born out of a pattern she saw with many of her clients and a desire to educate as many people as possible.
She serves as Advisory Council to the Southwest Community Foundation and sits on the Board of Trustees of the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation. Ilona enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and son.
